Modification 22-May-2019. This installation previously approved by Honolulu FSDO 5/6//2004. Temporarily installed the following ferry fuel system in accordance with Twin Otter International Ltd. Documents titled DHC-6 ferry fuel system, dated 4/8/2019. This form 337, a current ferry fuel system weight & balance, a special flight permit and a copy of de Havilland flight manual supplement #10a shall be provided to the flight crew and shall remain with the aircraft while in this configuration. An aircraft log entry has been accomplished reflecting installation of ferry system. 1. 6 ea. Aluminum ferry tanks (184.4 us gal each) center ed in cabin at f.s. 222.0. Tanks placed on 5/8 inch thick plywood, (ref dwg #dhc-6-2). 2. 1/4 inch plywood placed between tanks and 3/4 plywood placed at each end of tanks. (ref dwg #dhc-6-2). 3. Tanks secured with cargo straps rated at 5,000 lbs each and secured to cabin floor using douglas track cargo fittings p/n 22555-71 or equal rated 8,000 lbs each, (ref dwg #dhc-6-2).4. Connected ferry tank piping to aircraft fuel system using 3/4" tygon fuel hose. (ref dwg # dhc-6-1 and dhc-6-2). 5. Leak and function check satisfactory. 6.max permissible fuel per tank 139 us gal. 7. Inflated main tires to 45 psi. 8. Removal of ferry system is reverse of installation. 9. These ferry tanks may be removed if required before the termination of intended flight to necessitate maintenance. An aircraft log entry shall be made at each removal and installation of any part of the ferry system and returned to service in accordance with far 43 by a properly certifi cated perons or repair station/. 10. System to be operated in accord ance with DHC-6 ferry fuel system supplement #14. 11.
