RCMP was tasked to search and located the aircraft parked at Shell Lake. Alleged Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) infraction.

CADORS 08-Jun-2005. The aircraft arrived at Kugaaruk, NU after a VFR flight and the crew did not close their flight plan. Nav Canada began a communication search after the aircraft became overdue. CADORS 14-May-2007. The crew of a Kenn Borek DHC-6 Twin Otter air filed a VFR flight plan with North Bay FIC for a flight from Taloyoak to Resolute Bay. When the aircraft did not arrive at Resolute, a communications search ensued, and the company was contacted. It was determined that the aircraft was parked at Taloyoak and the crew had not informed ATC about the change, either on the RCO or by telephone. Alleged Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) infraction.

CADORS 18-May-2008. TSB reported that the de Havilland DHC-6 series 300 Twin Otter, operated by Kenn Borek Air Ltd was on the landing roll on runway 17T at Resolute Bay, NU when a wind gust lifted the left wing and the right wingtip contacted the runway surface. The crew and passengers were not injured, and the aircraft sustained minor damage to the right wingtip and right outboard flap hanger. The aircraft is being flown on a ferry permit to Inuvik for repair.

CADORS 15-Apr-2010. The aircraft on wheel/skis operated by Kenn Borek Air, was inbound to Iqaluit when the crew reported that one ski was stuck in the down position. They originally indicated their intention to land on the runway with the ski in the down position and the presence of the emergency rescue firefighters was suggested and accepted. They later made the decision to land on the frozen bay 2 NM south of the airport and did so without further incident at 15:40z.

CADORS 07-May-2010. A Beech King Air 100 operated by Kenn Borek Air, was inbound to Iqaluit, NU and the crew contacted Iqaluit FSS on 122.2 at 17:00z and advised they had radio problems and planned a right downwind for Runway 17 via overhead. From 1700z to 1717z, there was interference on 122.2 and FSS was unable to contact the King Air on that frequency. A Kenn Borek DHC-6, called FSS at 17:10z inbound and the crew received the advisory and planned a left base for Runway 35. At 17:12z, the Twin Otter did a missed approach and joined a right downwind Runway 17 to accommodate the King Air which turned final to Runway 17. Both aircraft landed safely on Runway 17. Once the King Air was on the ground, the interference on 122.2 ceased.
