Accident: Emmonak, AK, 09-Mar-1977. Damaged in undershoot of snow covered runway on landing. Suffered substantial damage. Repaired and returned to service. The approach to the end of Runway03 starts at a bank of the Yukon River. The area slopes down 45 degrees from the runway and at the time of the accident the bank and the river was covered in snow.
