Accident: Prudhoe Bay, AK. 01-Dec-1970. A student pilot started a go-around. The instructing pilot reduced power and the pilot thought the instructor had control. Aircraft was damaged in hard landing short of the runway. Repaired and returned to service.
Accident: Prudhoe Bay, AK, 31-May-1972. Damaged after leaving runway following rejected take-off. Failed to maintain directional control with ice and slush on the runway and ran off the left hand side of runway. The aircraft suffered substantial damage. It was repaired and returned to service.
