Accident: 22-Aug-1990 Damaged in mid-air when the upper 1/3 of the aircraft’s tail was sliced off by a helicopter, in the vicinity of California City, CA while involved in the filming of the Patrick Swayze/Keanu Reeves film “Point Break”. Repairable, and returned to service, with a tail removed from a former Pilgrim aircraft.

Accident: Sullivan Regional Airport, Missouri 29-Jul-2006 Twin Otter N203E departed Sullivan Regional carrying seven skydivers. Immediately after takeoff from runway 06 witnesses heard a popping sound. The Twin Otter lost height, contacted a utility pole, a tree and crashed next to a house at 1039 North and South Road, just northwest of the airport." Aircraft crashed nose down and was substantially damaged. As of 7-31-06 six of the eight persons on board the aircraft sustained fatal injuries.
