As the crew attempted an approach to Intan Jaya's Bilorai Airport, there was dense fog in the area and the crew later initiated a go-around.Shortly after, loud noises of an impact were heard at the airport and a signal from the airplane’s emergency locator transmitter activated.Emergency services were activated and the airplane was located about two hours into the search at an altitude of 7,870 feet MSL (2,400meters). From the crash site, it appears the airplane hit its nose first during the crash and its wings were lodged into trees with the cockpit completely destroyed. There were so signs of any survivors.
