Near to Quetama, close to Villavicencio en route San Josel del Guiviare to Bogota, the aircraft crashed into a mountain after continuing VFR flight into adverse weather conditions. Navigation errors and inadequate training procedures were deemed to be factors. Two crew and twenty passengers were killed.
