Accident Bainaha Valley, Indonesia 29-Mar-1977. flew into a mountain when on a flight from Palu to Tolitoli. The aircraft had descended from 9000 feet to 5000 feet when the pilot spotted a mountain in front of him. Full power was applied and a steep climb was initiated. The aircraft stalled, struck trees and crashed. Two crew and eleven passengers were killed. Five passengers were missing. One crew member and four passengers are known to have survived, The aircraft was damaged beyond repair.
