• 9N-ABM Leased to Tara Air, Kathmandu, Nepal, 03-Jan-2012.

Note: Reported as remaining idle for many years before being rebuilt and acquired by Tara Air in 2012. The aircraft was given a complete overhaul, carried out by a team of foreign and Tara Air’s own engineers and technicians in Tara Air’s own hangar as per the standards set by CAAN and ICAO. The aircraft had been grounded for almost a decade prior to the overhaul. The aircraft made a successful test flight on 10 May 2012.

Accident: Simikot, Humla, Nepal. 28-Nov-2017. The aircraft suffered a runway excursion during takeoff from Simikot Airport in Nepal. Reportedly the aircraft lost directional control after suffering burst tire on takeoff. Three crew members and one passenger were injured. The airplane sustained substantial damage

A team of 6 was able to disassemble the aircraft using primitive gin poles and come-alongs as well as a locals tractor. The wings and fuselage were slung under a MI-17 helicopter to Nepalgunj where the aircraft was loaded into sea containers for the voyage to Calgary Canada.

The aircraft will be rebuilt at Regent's facility in Calgary and offered for sale in 2019. See below.

Note: Officially imported to Canada 19-Feb-2019 and registered to Regent Aircraft Services Inc., Calgary, AB., 05-Mar-2019 as C-GIQE. This aircraft was recovered in Nepal in Sep-2018 and shipped to Canada via container for rebuilding.
