N124PM Pilgrim Aviation & Airlines Inc., Groton-New London Airport, CT.  Delivered 14-Apr-1967. Regd 11-May-1967. Canx 02-Mar-1971.

Accident: Long Island Sound, New Jersey. 10-Feb-1970. The aircraft ditched near Waterford, CT after fuel starvation while en route New London/Groton to New York JFK. Two crew and three passengers killed. Aircraft written off. NTSB report NYC70AN086.

Total time: At Feb-1970 5,817 hours.

Note: The wreckage was recovered from the water in early Mar-1970 relatively intact and was subsequently sold to Air Transport Industries. The fuselage hulk was noted at Arlington, WA., in 1989.
