• PK-NUH MNA - Merpati Nusantara "Natuna", Delivered 04-Dec-1973.

Accident: Wamena. 16-Dec-1992. The aircraft lost control on take-off, overran the runway and caught fire. Three crew and twelve passengers survived. The aircraft wasreported as  written off. However see below.

Accident, Dabra 17-Oct-2011. A Merpati Nusantara de Havilland DHC-6-300 Twin Otter, registration PK-NUH performing flight MZ-9782D from Jayapura to Dabra (Indonesia) with 13 passengers, 2 crew and 1 aircraft maintenance engineer, was on approach to Dabra's runway 24 in clear weather, winds about 5-7 knots, with the first officer (CPL, 2,272 hours total, 2,272 hours on type) being pilot flying and the captain (ATPL, 8,917 hours total, no hours on type provided) was pilot monitoring. The aircraft touched down on runway 24 about 200 meters down the runway (still on grass portion of the runway), bounced for about 175 meters (now asphalt) then veered right off the runway hitting banana trees about 6.5 meters to the right of the runway edge, in the meantime the crew applied corrective inputs and returned the aircraft onto the runway about 120 meters after veering off, then the aircraft ground looped before coming to a stop about 35 meters short of the runway end and facing opposite to landing direction. No injuries occurred, the aircraft received substantial damage.
