Accident: 03-Dec-1979. The aircraft disappeared en route while on a flight on behalf of Wien Air Alaska between Nome to Shishmaref. The flight was conducted under special VFR and the aircraft appeared to have collided with terrain whilst in normal cruise, killing the two crew and two passengers, after flying into adverse weather conditions of low ceiling, fog and snow. The aircraft was destroyed and recovered on 10-Feb-1980.
